You are part of a very elite group of students who have been selected to be in the Fine Arts Cohort, but who also are participating in this creative learning environment meant to broaden your understanding of how to learn, think, and express yourself.

- Your novel must be uploaded and verified on the NaNoWriMo website by 11:59 pm, EST, on Friday, November 30, 2018.
- Upload each day's work ONLY on the NaNoWriMo "Chapter" for the day. Word count will be automatically calculated and verified by NaNoWriMo. This is your WEEKLY grade.
- Save all work on your Google Doc. This is the final document Lowther will grade on November 30th.
- If you need a place to type, you may come to my room at any time with a note from your teacher, or before school, 8:00-8:25.
- Some class periods will be given to type, but others will not. We will usually begin with a mini-lesson on grammar, story structure, tips on writing, diction, etc.
- You may hand write or type your novel on another platform, but you MUST upload it to Google Docs, and then to NaNoWriMo.
- Grades will be taken after Saturdays, midnight.
- Grades will be calculated by dividing the student word count by the word count for that date (ex., For 11/04, the score would be out of 2000 points).
- Complete your chart and update with your current word count.
- Any plagiarism discovered will earn the student a grade of zero on the project!! Do not cheat!
