Shakespeare Camp: July 10-14, 2017 "EKU Theatre is excited to partner with the Richmond Area Arts Council to offer Shakespeare Summer Camp. This week long day camp for grades three and up offers students a window into the magic of Shakespeare with A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Over the course of the week campers will learn how to get moving with the language of the Bard and get crafty with theatre arts. At the end of the week they will perform an abridged version of the show! July 10-14 9am to 4pm. Lunch is provided by RAAC." High School Intensive: July 17-23, 2017 "Join the members of EKU Theatre for a week of “extreme” theatre!...High school students will have the opportunity to build fundamental acting skills alongside students, faculty, and professional guest artists. Attend live theatre and grow your talents creating a showcase performance in our state of the art Gifford theatre. Celebrate your passion for acting by living, working, and playing with theatre kids from across the state. University level academic credit is available for qualifying students. Residential on-campus housing and scholarships are available for students who apply.
