Academic Programs Educational Events and Outreach Kentucky Folk Art Center (Great for Cohort Arts Event requirement!) Summer Arts Academy MSU hosts an on-site, six-day Summer Arts Academy for high school students in all arts disciplines and creative writing. Some financial aid may be available. Applications for 2016 are not yet available, but information about the program may be found here. From the MSU application flyer: "The Academy consists of six full days of activities, including individual and group instruction in your chosen area (music, theatre, art and design, or creative writing). Evening activities include presentations and performances by faculty as well as recreational activities.
