Summer Camp Opportunities--ALL ARTS AREAS

SCATS (Summer Camp for Academically Talented Middle School Students)

Living Arts & Science Center
Preschool-grade 12. Creative, hands-on, art and science experiences. Half- and full-day weeklong summer sessions available June though August. More than 100 class titles, including robot building, computer programming, exploring, cooking, making friends, digital art, dancing, engineering, clay building, painting, 3-D printing, sculpting, drawing and video production. Camp sessions: June 1-3, 6-10 and 13-17, June 27-July 1, July 11-15, 18-22 and 25-29 and Aug. 1-5 9 a.m.-noon and 1-4 p.m. Extended care available. Offering more than 40 STEM day camps, including hands-on engineering, chemistry, computer programing, 3D printers, digital arts, drones, rocketry, robotics, catapults, Minecraft Mod and more. Bow-making and archery, build your own 3D printer, Camp Catapult, Camp Katniss (girls only), chemistry, CNC programming, Creative Aviation, Da Vinci Kids, DIY rocketry, digital arts, drones, electronic circuits, Electronics 101 with Arduino, FlugTag, GoldieBlox & the Three Gadgets (girls only), Kerbal Space, Lego Robotics, Maker Board Mayhem, Minecraft Mod, Mini Robots-Mega Fun, Nerf Gun Mods, programming with Java, Java Script, Python, Scratch, Raspberry Pi programming, Rocket Dragsters, Robotic Gladiators, Rube Goldberg Machines, Teens & Tools, UberLegos, Water Wars. $175-$425 a week depending on half-day or full-day options and type of class.
