LEXINGTON, Ky. (WTVQ) – A post on the City of Lexington’s Facebook page says it’s not too late to register for this year’s Thriller and Halloween Parade. Both children and adults can participate as zombies in the Thriller re-enactment event. All participants must register online or in-person at a scheduled rehearsal. All participating zombies are required to attend at least one regular rehearsal and one staging rehearsal. Rehearsals are being held at Artworks at the Carver School, located at 522 Patterson Street. Regular rehearsals begin Friday, Sept. 30 and run through Friday, Oct. 21. Staging rehearsals begin Saturday, Oct. 22 and run through Friday, Oct. 28. The rehearsal schedule is as follows:
Auditions for the main roles of Michael and Ola in the Thriller re-enactment will be held Saturday, Sept. 17 from 2 – 3 p.m. also at the Artworks at the Carver School. Prior to the Thriller re-enactment, there will be a Halloween parade featuring ghosts, ghouls, superheroes, villains and costumed characters of all kinds.
